Shows

Dorian has several ensembles and shows. His tribute to the Nat Cole Trio – where Dorian transcribed the trio’s original arrangements from the late 1940s – has been a success around the country. The show is captured in the album, Route 66. And his latest album, Groovy Gravy, is a recording of his hard working Organ Trio. He also has a tribute show, Jazz at the Movies and Screen Sinatra – a tribute to the songs Sinatra crooned in films.

A fun new project has been The Bathtub Gin Orchestra, where Dorian plays piano and accordion. This band comprises two parts 1920s stomp, one-part early 1930s swing, and just a dash of Gypsy Jazz. Pour contents into an iron bathtub and stir with a broom handle until drunk on the good vibes of the party music of the early 20th Century.
